Product Description is something optional where you can choose to display all the details about your product to your buyers. It can contain simple plain texts, sometimes with images or carries over your html template. The details on your description can be modified where you can shorten or lengthen the texts like remove words, replace words, append texts on your description and use our html smart tool removal.
Where to edit product description using rules?
First is to go to your Products Page then click on Rules button as shown on the image below.
Next is to select from Appearance > Description
Then Choose Action from the drop-down
From the actions you can choose from:
Select part of text
You will be entering the starting and ending part of text, words or phrase and anything in between will also be removed.
Remove words
This removes specific words or phrases as exactly how you spell it.
Replace words
Here you'll fill in the words or phrases you want to replace.
Append text to the start
Append text to the start allows you to add new texts, words or phrases from the beginning of your product description.
TIP: You can use variables such {{condition}}, {{size}} and {{color}} as values that will be replaced with the product's information.
Append text to the end
Append text to the end allows you to add new texts, words or phrases from the last part of your product description.
Configure item specifics
If you have a lot of attributes in your product details, this allows you to include or exclude item specifics in your product description.
Smart HTML Removal
If your description is setup using an HTML template then our app can remove the entire HTML template from your description.

When your description is empty, you can set your description using the variables we have available that you can use such {{condition}}, {{size}} and {{color}} as values that will be replaced with the product's information.
Where to edit Product Description Manually?
You can also edit your product description manually if it’s only for minor change or if it only applies to a few items.
Click Edit button to see the product details.
Next is to go to Item Description
Then write your description on the box below.
Lastly is to Save or Save & Export the changes applies.
