Depop Payments is the official payment system for Depop, allowing buyers to pay using debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
If your account isn’t set up for Depop Payments, Depop prevents listing uploads or updates until setup is completed.
You may encounter this error if:
You’ve never completed your Depop Payments setup.
Your verification details (like ID or bank info) are missing or pending.
You recently updated your bank information or changed business type.
Your account is outside supported countries for Depop Payments.
🛠️ How to Fix the Error
To resolve this, follow Depop’s setup process directly from your Depop app or dashboard:
1. Set Up Depop Payments
Go to your Depop app → Profile → Payments → Depop Payments.
Follow the prompts to complete setup. You’ll need to:
Verify your identity (e.g., upload ID).
Add your bank account for payouts.
Agree to the terms and conditions.
2. Confirm Account Verification
Once you’ve completed the setup, Depop may take a short time to verify your information.
You’ll receive an email or in-app confirmation once your account is approved.
3. Return to ExportYourStore
After your Depop Payments are verified:
Log back into your ExportYourStore dashboard.
Try exporting your products again.
If you still see the error, try reconnecting your Depop store to ExportYourStore under Channels → Manage Stores → Reconnect.
