Step 1: Enable Auction Settings
To begin using auction listings on eBay, you must first enable the feature from your settings.
Go to Settings with eBay as the Target Store.
Locate the "Enable Auction" toggle.
Switch it to ON to activate auction mode.
Step 2: Export Products as Auction
Once auction listings are enabled, you can now select products to be listed as auctions:
Go to your Products page.
Select the item(s) you want to export.
Click Export, and a modal window will appear.
In the modal, choose Auction as the listing format.
Step 3: Set Auction Duration and Starting Price
When setting up auction listings, you can define a starting price—this is typically lower than your regular price to encourage bidding activity and increase buyer interest. Simply enter your desired starting bid price in the export modal window during listing.
You can also adjust the auction duration before confirming the export.
Important Notes
Auction products cannot be updated once listed.
If you're exporting in bulk and the product is already live as a fixed-price listing, it will be skipped.
For best results, adjust individual auction settings (duration, price) during export.
